Terms of use

Cubitt Family Admin is a private household tool maintained by Adam Cubitt. These terms cover the local email-to-calendar workflow, not a public hosted service.

Use authorised accounts

Connect only mailboxes and calendars that you own or have permission to use for this purpose. Read the provider's consent screen and the privacy notice before authorising a connection.

Check important dates

Extraction can miss a notice or interpret it incorrectly. Check the original email before acting on a date, amount or appointment. This version does not extract attached PDFs or images, and it holds ambiguous, changed and cancelled notices for review. An entry on the calendar is a reminder, not proof that a booking, payment or other action has been completed.

The initial setup requires review before adding calendar entries. If the owner later enables automatic approval for selected senders, the owner must first check that configuration and continue monitoring its results.

Availability and account connections

The workflow depends on the household PC, network, provider authorisations, Apple Calendar and Home Assistant. Outages, revoked permissions or provider changes can interrupt it. It is not a substitute for the source correspondence or another reminder needed for a critical deadline.

Owner control

The owner can stop the worker, change its configuration or revoke connections. Stopping access does not automatically remove local records, backups or previously created calendar entries; removal is described in the privacy notice.

Changes to the software or how it is used may require updated information on these pages. These terms do not alter the separate terms of Google, Microsoft, Apple or any other connected service.
